New Hampshire is truely a winter wonderland and a snowmobilers paradise. Whether you sled through the picturesque wooded trails with breath taking mountain paranomas or take advantage of the abandoned rail lines along river valleys, you will find some of the finest riding in all of New England.

There are over 6,800 miles of interconnecting trails available for resident and non-resident alike. Also the New Hampshire State Parks Service offer over 40 parks open for snowmobiling in the state. You just need to register your snowmobile with The New Hampshire Snowmobile Association.

Get a discount and join one of 115 affiliated snowmobile clubs intersperesed throughout the state. Membership fees go towards trail maintence, purchasing of new equipment, and new trail constuction. Access to the trails has been provided throughout the state with special attention to parking, food, and gasoline.

CAUTION: A groomer travels at an average speed of 5-8MPH. Riders need to use extreme caution on the trails and always be on the lookout for groomers. Many of the grooming machines are exceptionally wide and long, so you as the snowmobiler need to give the right-of-way, and ALWAYS slow down when approaching a groomer.

"Greetings....... I just had to take a minute to heap praise on the groomers taking care of the Pond of Safety section of trails.  I do not think I have ever seen a better groomed trail, and the proof is in the way the trail withstood last week's rainstorm.  I will also let you know that the word is out to the dogsledding community, as there are few other places left in the state other than Pond of Safety and Stratford that have any decent training trails, so expect to see more dog teams than usual up there!"

Thanks again for the great job-

Waumbek Methna,

I just returned home after spending 1/21 - 1/23 riding your trails for the first time...... we had the best riding. I  have been riding 20 years and my father in-law has been riding close to 40 years and your trails were the best either of us has seen.  Ron was a great guide and very knowledgable.  Prior to our meeting up with Ron we met Maurice and Jeff at the warming hut.  Both gentlemen were very friendly.  We can't wait to come up on Feb. vacation.  GREAT TRAILS keep up the great work. We will definitely be back.
